  • Drove program optimization by instituting an advisory board of prominent citizens to promote goals, conducting youth leadership training, enlisting the help of an association that held training and annual competition events for youth, and initiating an annual awards banquet.
  • Addressed youth interest in public safety by organizing an event at a hospital, which featured demonstrations and learning activities presented by officers and staff from local and federal law enforcement and fire/EMS agencies.
